PEOPLES RURAL ASSOCIATION FOR BETTER HUMAN ACTION & TRAINING in short PRABHAT is a not for Profit making Organization initiated by few likeminded people in 1987. organizing the existing youth power and engage them in social welfare activities. Initially the activities were confined within the Chandrapur block itself and had served the poor people as far as possible according to the own capacity of the Yubak Sangha and gradually got confidence and reorganization from community people. By the way, the Organization registered under Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 during the year 1989-90 with Additional Registrar of Societies, Koraput and got its legal status.

Geographical Area of Work
Presently, PRABHAT is working in the most interior and thickly tribal populated villages in Chandrapur, Kalyansingpur, Gudari, Ramanaguda and Kolnara blocks in Rayagada district, Lanjigarh Block of Kalahandi district Koraput block of Koraput district and 10 villages in Jajpur & Jagatsinghpur districts of Odisha reaching out 23486 households. Above all, we are also planning to extend our nation building activities in some most interior and inaccessible belts of Western Odisha during the ensuing year(s) subject to allocation of financial resources and constructive cooperation from our well-wishers, partners, financial support agencies and the responses from the community for whom we intend to work relentlessly
