Governance
Credibility and accountability have always been the benchmark for PRABHAT and are achieved through the promotion of principles of good governance in the processes and practices. The Executive Committee of PRABHAT duly elected by the General Body consists of 11 members with representation from professionals, team members, women SHG leaders and community leaders. The Executive Committee functions as the main decision-making body with the day-to-day management by the Secretary. The term of office of the Executive Committee is 3 years. The General Body meets twice in a year and the Executive Board meets quarterly. The organization has established systems of governance and management with documented HR, Child Protection & Financial Policy.
We have annual audits to ensure impact of investment and complete transparency and accountability in utilization of funds. We share our project activities and budgets with all the stakeholders and all our information are open to public disclosure.
Chief Functionary
The Secretary functions as the Chief functionary looking after the day-to-day functions of the Organization. Mr. Suresh Chandra Mishra, B.Com and having 27 years of experience in Rural Development as well as in development sector and mostly spent time working among the tribal communities in the Eastern & Western Ghats.

MAIN ACTIVITIES IMPLEMENTED BY THE ORGANISATION :
- Reproductive & Child Health programme in Lanjigarh block of Kalahandi, approved by-Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
- Renovation of Traditional Health Practice (AYUSH from Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of India in Kalyansingpur Block of Rayagada district.
- Response to outbreak of epidemics like cholera on behaviour change communication on health and hygiene practices sponsored by UNICEF and OXFAM.
- Campaign on health rights sponsored by UNFPA.
- Promotion of line showing, SRI Paddy & maize cultivation in 900 hectors covering 900 beneficiaries under ATMA, Department of Agriculture, in Chanrdapur block.
- Seed treatment programme for 1000 farmers in Chandrapur block under ATMA.
- Imparted skill trainings to ASHAs (Accredited Social Health Activists) of Chandrapur & Kalyansingpur blocks sponsored by Zilla Swasthya Samiti, NRHM, Rayagada.
- Skill training & hand holding support to Women Self Help Groups on Mushroom cultivation, Bee Keeping, Phenyl, Agarabati and Vegetable Cultivation, Sponsored by NABARD-Bhubaneswar, implemented in Muniguda & Chandrapur block.
- Promotion, Training, strengthening of 156 Women SHG with 1872 members in Chandrapur block of Rayagada district, sponsored by NABARD- Bhubaneswar.
- Promotion, Training, strengthening of 36 FARMERS CLUB with 576 members in Chandrapur block of Rayagada district, sponsored by NABARD- Bhubaneswar.
